The construction and styling by Alpha Living Queensland in the heart of one of Brisbane’s most prestigious areas. Called, Henry House, this home was a run-down old Queenslander needing a lot of T.L.C. With heritage listed features that had to stay, Alpha Build delved into contemporary and classic styling instead of the very popular Hamptons Home.
The Contemporary Charm styling reflects a very neutral colour palette and fine textures. Expansive living areas connecting to the patio and outdoor area is always the goal of a home in Australia. The addition of light colour hardwood flooring, silver fixtures and fittings, tones of greys, a balance of coastal comfort mixed with contemporary furnishings really balance aesthetic look and feel of the home.
Blindo worked with Alpha Build to design the perfect complimentary colour palette for all window furnishings as well as thinking about practicality for the family. Simplicity is key in the bedrooms, simple Blockout Roller Blinds in Skye Earl Grey incorporates the neutrals used throughout the home. Over the doors, you will see Custom Made Sheer Curtains in Cannes Pewter. This fabric provides privacy, adds softness to the room but is the perfect amount of sheerness to be able to look out to the backyard.
